UNetbootin allows you to create bootable Live USB drives for Ubuntu, Fedora, and other Linux distributions without burning a CD.You will have the option to change the default disk partitioning.Selected your preferred language, location, and keyboard layout.Selected "Expert install" from the menu.When the backup completes, select "reboot" to boot into your freshly installed SteamOS.So if you make a file on your desktop, that file will be lost when you restart. That means, that when you terminate/shutdown your laptop everything you've saved/edited in Kali is lost. This one will boot you into Kali, but only in the Live mode.
